Access, Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the American Theatre

In my work an ally, advocate, or activist, it isn't my job to speak on behalf of marginalized or disenfranchised communities.  My job is to raise awareness around issues concerning them and to amplify voices within that community. As an artist responding to the world around me, I'm asking questions, providing context, and speaking truth to power by holding the actions and inactions of social, political, and governmental leaders accountable. As part of my work with Theatre Communication Group (TCG), I've been able tor reach out to others advocating for equity, access, and opportunity in the field.
