Curriculum Development, Theatre Arts Integration and Teaching Artist Training

  • Participate in the development and evaluation of new curriculum for theatre and theatre based classes. 
  • Conduct research and consult with faculty and staff in the design and development of new curriculum.
  • Prepare instructional material for printing and develop outlines with the necessary basic detail to direct instruction.
  • Follow-up review and assessment of curriculum to ensure that course/program is meeting the intended objectives and requirements.

  • Develop activities that will train teachers to integrate the arts throughout the curriculum.
  • Create opportunities to learn best practices in arts integration through research, professional development, and other learning opportunities.
  • Provide in-class support and coaching to teachers using theatre arts curricula, including coaching on teacher strategies.
  • Develop rubrics and other assessment tools for evaluation.

  • Teach arts integration strategies to assist the artist in engaging teachers and students.
