Today we say goodbye to Adventure Theatre MTC's production of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. I can't say enough how much I will miss this production. Part of what made it so special was how everyone came together with such love, joy, and enthusiasm. Nowhere was this more evident than in the brilliant marketing department, who seemed to have no end of ideas for how to captivate the hearts and minds of audiences. They wanted to find a way to promote the the WWOZ that was more than just having a trailer, so they decided to have Toto interview the other characters in the play. In the midst of 8 shows a week and understudy rehearsals, the actors fully embraced the idea and had a lot of fun with it. Communications Director Amanda Russell created the questions for the Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Woodman and Lion and Marketing and Graphics Assistant Sarah Straub put together the ones for Uncle Henry and Aunt Em. During the interviews, Thony Mena and Ryan Dalusung operated Toto. I've gather them all here, so please enjoy!
